Vision
Remove "I don't have time for that" from the working vocabulary.
Values
- Clarity — If it isn't understood, it doesn't work.
- Precision — Cutting what's extra is as important as adding what's missing.
- Practicality — The best solution is the one that actually gets used.
- Translation — Between technology and people there's always a gap. My job is to close it.
- Rescue — No useful data, process, or idea should be lost for lack of order.
Mission
Make administrative work take up less room. I edit processes, automate the repetitive, and digitize what still lives on paper, so the important becomes more visible and the boring, shorter.
Value proposition
I don't sell software. I look at how you work, find what slows things down, what repeats, what gets lost, and redesign it. Sometimes the solution is an automation. Sometimes it's about changing the question.
Editing is not a single skill: it's translation, patience, judgment, and the moderately honest use of euphemisms to make a writer arrive at what the editor wants (needs) while being completely convinced it was their idea.
The editorial judgment I've built since 2012 is not separate from the code I write now. It's the reason the code works.
I hold a BA in Social Communication with a focus on editorial production, and an MA in Digital Humanities from the University of Alberta. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I am available for freelance consulting, short-term contracts, and full-time roles in operations automation or AI implementation.
