Privacy

This is a simple site. It collects as little data as it can get away with. Here's what it does collect, and why.

Minimal computing

The site adheres, where possible, to minimal computing principles: static pages, low weight, minimal dependencies, and fast load times even on slow connections or older devices. The Lab demo is the deliberate exception. It depends on a language model hosted by Anthropic, but it's isolated from the rest of the site: if the demo fails, the rest stays accessible and functional.

Contact form submissions

If you send a message through the contact form, the form delivers your name, email, optional company, subject, and message to hello@catatorres.ca. The email lives in Catalina's Gmail inbox indefinitely, or until she deletes it. If you want your message deleted, email her with that request.

Lab demo submissions

When you run the Lab workflow suggester, the problem you describe is sent to a language model to draft a workflow, and a copy of your text and that workflow is emailed to Catalina — so she sees what visitors actually need help with. Don't put anything confidential in there. As with the contact form, that email lives in her inbox until she deletes it.

Rate limiting

The contact form and the Lab demo are rate-limited to prevent abuse. The site stores a SHA-256 hash of your IP address for 24 hours to track usage. The hash expires automatically. No personally identifiable information about your browsing is stored.

Analytics

Vercel Analytics counts page views in an aggregated, cookie-free way. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load on real visits — loading times only, no identifiers, no cookies. No tracking across sites. No Google Analytics.

Third parties

The site uses: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery for the contact form), Anthropic API (powering the Lab demo), Google Fonts (Libre Bodoni, Courier Prime). Each of these has its own privacy policy. Nothing from this site is sold to anyone.
